As a new football season approaches it's time to start some new Prediction Leagues on Ipredict.co.uk.
This season we plan to have the following prediction leagues available, starting with the Non-League Prediction League which kicks off on the 12th August.
- Non League Prediction League 2006/07 (www.ipredict.co.uk/NL3/)
- FA Cup Prediction League 2006/07 TBA
- UEFA Cup Prediction League 2006/07 To start on the first round proper.
- Champions League Prediction League 2006/07 To start at the group stages.
As we look forward it is also time though to look back at the World Cup League and congratulate DragonTTT for winning by some margin (not needing penalties like the real World Champions) amassing an impressive final record of 16 spot on predictions and 156points.
The new seasons leagues are also running 2 new features that the software writer has added.
These are
- Mini Leagues -- So you can have a small mini league against your friends.
- Default Scores -- So if you forget to predict or go on holiday these scores are used.
These are both new features and we hope they work well. If you find some problems with them please let us know and we will contact the programmer and hopefully get them resolved quickly.
To use the Default scores you need to log on to the league and go to Your Profile page. Here you can change the scores which at the start are set to 0-0.
To use the mini league you can either create a mini league and invite your friends from a list of the users, or if you are invited, then accept the invite to join the league. The mini leagues have there own menu links in the navigation bar.
